The folks at Gear Patrol had an idea: connect with their customers, get some exercise, and help show off a great new bike concierge service with some incredible gear – the new Pinarello Dogma F12 road bike. As part of Gear Patrols Stocked 2019, A Product Culture Conference, Roula partnered to host a 40-mile ride on our home turf along the Hudson River.

A strong Peloton of riders joined Roula’s domestiques on a beautiful Saturday morning at Roula HQ  opposite the incredible new Hudson Yards at 34th St. Riders were pre-fitted to all sizes of the new F12 and briefed on the incredible new SRAM Red eTap AXS 12 speed group set, MOST components and new build structure of the frame and the resulting performance benefits.  After a quick safety briefing and some basic route guidelines, we rolled out.

The Group cruised up the west side bike path to the George Washington Bridge under a perfectly clear blue sky, before crossing into NJ to hit River Road in Palisades Park with morning views of a glistening Hudson River to our right the whole time. We eventually reached the Ranger Station at the park’s north end to refuel and pick up water, before heading back South to the GW bridge along Route 9W. Snacks, perfect espresso, and some great Gear Patrol swag all made for a fantastic day on the groups return to HQ!
